We were placed in a corner which was helpful.

Server asked if my kids liked mushrooms and peppers after ordering a dish that didn't have them, added them to the dish and charged us rather than ask if they would like to add them at an upcharge. Then the server missed a persons dish from our party and had to sit there 20 minutes while everyone ate around them. Unacceptable.

Been here twice at this point but might not be back after our most recent experance. Olive Garden is solidly average italian food. On our last experience there, we ordered takeout and are fairly confident the salads we received where bad and caused me and a friend to get food poisoning.

Normally I would give this place 5 stars. My family has been going her for years since 2006. The atmosphere and service was always top notch. Making you feel like it was a family place. Now everything is portioned out, a individual salad is only allowed 1 olive. My mother asked for more olives on her next salad and the waitress came out with cups to show the portion size for a individual salad. We ordered a full meal carry out and asked if it comes with the salad and bread sticks, she said yes buy you only get 2 bread sticks. Then we got three chocolate mints, there was 3 of us and my son loves them son much. We asked if we can have more and we were told they can only give us three more. I didn't enjoy being policed on our food. We saw a waitress we recognized and asked if their policy changed and she said they just changed it due to the cost going up and proventing waste.

Food is always the same, but the service was absolutely awful. Told us they ran out of breadsticks, took 45 minutes to get seated when the restaurant was empty, server disappeared completely for 30 minutes. Management needs to hire better staff

We visited 11/13/2025 around 5:00.
We came for my daughter’s birthday and no one asked if we were celebrating anything and the waiting for simple things took 10 mins for them to bring to us so we didn’t bother mentioning it. The portions have noticeably smaller, and the service was extremely slow. It took around 15 minutes before our server even came over to greet us and take our drink order. We didn’t receive our bread until after our entrées had already arrived, and we had to remind the server multiple times about items we requested.

This is the second time we’ve had a negative experience at this location. I gave it another chance thinking the first visit might’ve just been an off day, but unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case.
On a positive note hostesses who greeted us at the front were nice And seated us quickly.

When we first walked in, we were actually very hopeful — the hosts were friendly and welcoming, and it started off on a good note. Unfortunately, that changed once we were seated. We waited 5–10 minutes, and not a single server came by to greet us, offer water, or even acknowledge that we were there.

After sitting with no service at all, we ended up leaving disappointed. Customer service is a big part of the dining experience, and this location really fell short. Hoping management can improve the attentiveness and overall experience for future guests.

Waited an hour despite having a reservation and checking in on time. Ruined the experience

Absolutely terrible experience at this Olive Garden. Our family of five waited about 15 minutes for a table — not too bad — but things went downhill fast after that.

After being seated for 10 minutes, we placed our order: one regular entrée and the “Never Ending Pasta” offer, thinking we could share as we’ve done before. About 10 minutes later, the manager shows up just to tell us we *can’t share* the pasta deal. Fine, so I order a kids meal instead. Another long 10-minute wait.

When the salad finally came, it arrived with only one empty plate. I asked for a few more so my family could share, and the waiter actually said they would have to *charge* for each extra plate! At that point, I told them to cancel the order — my family left, and I waited a bit, expecting the manager to at least come talk to me. No one did. No apology, no concern, nothing.

This is not the Olive Garden I’ve been going to for years. Service, attitude, and hospitality have completely gone downhill. Never coming back.

I would like to file a complaint about the terrible treatment and lack of respect I experienced from the staff at the Olive Garden location in Novi, Michigan. Their behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional, which made my visit very uncomfortable and disappointing. This kind of attitude toward customers is completely unacceptable. I expected much better service and respect, especially from a well-known restaurant like Olive Garden. I hope management takes this matter seriously and handles it immediately.

Our server Lee, was an absolute treat! She remembered us from a year ago and gave excellent quality service!
