I have been a long standing customer here. Food has always been great and the chef is really nice. However, lately the waitress taking our orders has been very rude. She throws the menu at you and looks upset you are even there. Again, food is amazing and we keep going back because of it but the experience lately has been very poor.
People talk about hole in the wall places being good; this place isn't just good, it's phenomenal. Chef Das prepared one of the best sushi experiences I've had in my life. The fatty tuna nigiri took my wife and I to an extraordinary level of happiness; we could not help but have big smiles while we ate. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our hot tea did not run out nor did my wife's water. The service was impeccable, the staff were very polite and friendly....
Authentic Japanese food. You know the place is legit when you see most customers are locals. Food portions are pretty good and reasonably priced. Need some furniture update, dinning seats are falling apart and tables are squeaky but the food is the highlight and should get all the limelight! Definitely hidden local gem for Japanese food.
