Recently moved to the area and previously frequented the popular Trizest in Madison Heights, Szechuan Fan is just as good!! I can’t imagine the bad reviews here being true, maybe people just haven’t tried authentic Szechuan cuisine before. This hits all the marks though, truly delicious. I will be back often!

Authentic Szechuan restaurant, both diced chicken and mapo tofu we ordered were were full of flavor. It is a rare find in the area and I’d love to return. However, I do think the interior of the restaurant needs some improvement as it lacks the cozy and enjoyable vibes, looks like a take out place instead.

Finally tried this place after driving past it for years, and wow do I regret waiting so long! We got the dan dan noodles, double cooked pork belly and Mapo Tofu and we were floored with how delicious everything was! It was hard to pick a favorite dish. But if you love Mapo Tofu and order it often at an American Chinese restaurant like I do, don't try Szechuan's Mapo because I will never be able to eat it anywhere else. 😍
