Inconsiderate management to someone with a handicap. I am a senior and I only have one eye, my right eye, and informed the manager that I hit right handed and thus hit towards my blindside (fyi I wear an eye patch over my left eye socket). I said I only want to play 9 holes and need someone along with me to point out where my ball went as I swing to my blindside. I didn't have anyone to play with that day so I asked if it was ok for my wife to be my ball spotter and informed them she would not be playing and would not have any golf clubs with her. They asked if I wanted an electric golf cart and I indicated I would. They then informed me that they would charge my wife a riding fee that was a third the cost of playing 9 holes/with cart. I again informed them she is only spotting balls given my blindness and that I am already paying for the cart. They didn't care and had no explanation as to the cost, or the high amount they would charge her other than calling it a ride along fee. We walked away as it was nonsense. I never thought I would have a business charge me for my handicap.

The course itself is ok, nothing special. There is no handicapped parking or accessible bathrooms. My father was with us at a charity golf outing as he likes to play golf, but can't walk long distances. We asked about it and the staff told us they knew there wasn't any, but the owner doesn't want to do anything about it. There was also some confusion about the cooler policy. We specifically asked and were told we could bring a cooler with drinks because it was a special occasion (charity golf outing). This was great as I'm allergic to several things and they don't have a huge selection for me. Another employee later was very rude, took all of our drinks and wanted to take my yeti cooler (no way!). I was willing to bring them back to my car as there was a misunderstanding and we were right by the parking lot, but she was very forceful about taking them. She also pulled out and drove through the fairway as I was teeing off. Overall, we still enjoyed our day but I would hesitate to go back again.

The staff is great but that is where anything good ends. The prices are outlandish for the state of things. The course is poorly maintained, and you will find mostly weeds and mud patches on your approach shots. The clubhouse shows signs of previous elegance but has been poorly maintained; it now resembles a dilapidated ski lodge from the 80's. Unless you get a great rate, find another course.
I ordered the Back 9 Burger last night after my golf league and WOW! It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! Great job and thank you! 5 STARS!!!!!
