Fried rice at Eddie's? More like Five Nights at Freddy's.

Got the Steak sandwich dinner, prepared medium well. This sandwich was excellent! Meat was fresh! Toast was fresh! Lettuce was fresh! French fries were hot and fresh! But the zip sauce was the highlight of the meal! I can't believe I lived a mile away from Eddie's Gourmet and didn't visit it until I moved to Canton! I definitely have to make that trip once a week!

OVERPRICED for food. Go elsewhere.

Smaller low key spot for great pasta dishes and cuts of grilled meats. Friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices and large portions. Try the Hawaiian fries or bites. I will be back!

Great people, I had the chance to work with them up close, they are very clean, the first thing I noticed and chef Eddie is very serious about healthy clean establishment.
Eddie's might look like just a regular dinner, but I sure it's more than that, their cooking techniques are authentic and they do respect the process, no short cuts, that's why they're always busy and most of their guests are infact regulars, no surprises there.
Eddie's offers very good quality dishes at very competitive prices and I do highly recommend them if you're looking good food, good quality time with your friends and family and without breaking bank.
I God we trust and God bless America ☺️

Today, I went somewhere else to eat the Seafood linquine and I ate here before I realize Eddie's Gourmet was better for me and I'm convinced I'll be back. I just wish they delivered. I'm a fan.

Eddie's Gourmet was a disappointing experience for my coworkers and me. We ordered two gyros, which were unfortunately drenched in tzatziki sauce, leaving the sandwich dry and cold. I would have considered microwaving it, but the excessive sauce made that impossible.
My coworker tried the tuna melt and found it to be dry as well. Another tuna melt ordered was missing an ingredient (American cheese) that was specifically requested.
We were excited to try the Hawaiian Fries after seeing them on the website, but unfortunately, they turned out to be bland and lacking in flavor. Despite trying to add salt, they were still disappointing. I felt it was necessary to return them, especially given their pricing. When I called to express my concerns, one of the staff members was dismissive and talked over me, insisting that the gyro were cooked on a grill. However, that didn’t change the fact that my food was cold. It felt like my feedback wasn’t valued; instead of listening, she interrupted me while I tried to explain my issue. When I brought the food back for a refund, the same staff member was unprofessional and handed my receipt to me with an attitude. I was frustrated that I had to make the trip back after not being able to enjoy my lunch.
I left feeling unheard and disappointed. It’s essential for businesses to welcome constructive criticism, especially when customers are dissatisfied with their meals. A simple apology and effort to accommodate would have gone a long way.
This was our first visit, and it will definitely be our last. The experience was marred by a foul smell as soon as we walked in, reminiscent of dirty rags, which was off-putting. I wouldn’t recommend Eddie's Gourmet based on our experience; the negative reviews you see online are accurate. The food was bland, unflavorful, and dry, and I believe it’s important to share this feedback so that others are informed.

One of my favorite restaurants in Metropolitan. You get a gourmet meal at half the price of other higher end restaurants. Steak and pasta are always a great options. The must tries are Hawaiian fries and pistachio pies. Highly recommend and the young lady at the register is always a pleasure to talk to. The owner is usually manning the kitchen. Go here, you won’t be disappointed

Omg I love coming here! What a gem of a place. The burgers to me or one of the best I've had. My favorite place to come for lunch when in southfield. Staff is awesome. Very welcoming and attentive.
