Being that I'm from Arizona it's hard to get any soul food there, So while I was in Michigan on a business trip, I just had to place an order through Uber eats. Let's just say I couldn't stop licking my fingers It was just that good. Thank you Motor City Soul Food.

I sent my husband into Motor City Soul food so I didn't see what the food looked like. I ordered a $23 Smothered Pork Chop dinner. I've never tasted anything so BLAND Gravy White with the texture of PASTE Not a lick of salt or seasoning.

I've been going to MCS Food for along time, they are good when there's less of a crowd, but when Sundays come they are fast moving . Some their food is good, but those days come when there is crowd , the servers can have attitudes, and sometimes the customers don't make it any easier.

The cashier has to be one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever met even when asked to smile and the response was. I’m on a business call trying to do two things at one time so maybe you think you shouldn’t be doing customer service and cashing people out with the attitude? I am so sick and tired of the young people today being nasty for no reason.

I started coming here because 7mile is terrible but this being my third trip here it was very disappointing you can tell very little care went into the food , Mac and cheese was dry, chicken no flavor just saucy and burnt cornbread for 31

This used to be my go-to for soul food. They changed the recipe for the macaroni and cheese. It tastes bland. I ordered a side of dressing and gravy and it was very salty. Also to pay over $30 for the meal the quality is not matching the price. The only thing that was edible were the pork chops.

The worst!! ? I use to love this place in 2018-2019 (BC) "Before COVID" haven't been since until today and I was sadly disappointed.. The service was trash ?️ I got the Latoya Jackson look alike who couldn't hear then gets an attitude with me Because she can't hear when I tell her that's not what I ordered.. lol The food was also trash ?️ and extremely over priced! I paid $35 Dollars for Greens, Mac and cheese and Baked Chicken.. That's just Krazy Never again smh.. I would have tossed it in the trash where it belongs but I paid to much for it so I ate it lol ?

This is the Best Motor City Soul Food in the city, better than Telegraph, 7 Mile etc. So good you have to go before they start running out of delicious sides ? it's kinda of expensive but worth every coin and they give you healthy portions. Service is fast throughout the protective glass and they don't speak ebonics. Service with a smile and beautiful black people. oooh I Like It!
