Absolutely one of my favorite bars in Metro Detroit. The basement is very comfortable and usually each night there is a different DJ spinning vinyl. Market rate cocktails, wine and beer. What makes this place remarkable is that besides paying for a drink, it comes close to being over a friends house or your own.

Our drinks at the bar were great along with the friendly female bartender. Once we were sat our bald server with the beard was one of the most unfriendly servers that we have experienced (we thought that we were being punk'd). The food was very good and we will return, but will definitely sit at the bar or avoid GRUMPY!

I was there last week and ordered the pastrami but it was definitely corned beef . It was carry out and delicious . I'm guessing the sauce was for the potatoes wasn't sure but tasty for sure

If you haven’t tried Oak Parker, I highly suggest that you do. Check out the DJ and bar downstairs also.

So happy to finally visit Oak Parker! When we arrived there was an hour wait, but it wasn't bad at all, as we were able to chill in the basement lounge. Music and drinks were both great, loved the vibe. When we were seated, our waitress immediately greeted us. She was kind and helpful. I ordered the Rachel. It was delicious!!! The portion was huge. I could only eat half. I loved the chips that came with it too. Overall, a fantastic experience. Is recommend this to anyone!

Pastrami sandwich only had cheese on it. Waitress didn't ask if I wanted dressing,

The chicken sandwich was beyond delicious! The service was amazing and very attentive. I had no idea this place was right around the corner, it is a must to go check out!

The Patty Melt, with caramelized onions, garlic aioli, was spectacular!

Had the patty melt. Probably the best I've ever had. Bread was toasted to perfection. Seasoned beautifully. Onions also delicious. The only thing I can complain about was the chips had zero salt on them. I will definitely be back.

This was my 4th time here! Close to my house and I keep wanting to try more things on the menu. Everything has been a hit so far. The wings are delicious, amazing fries, special menu that changes frequently. Today we had a grilled cheese with Pastrami - delicious! The Caesar salad is also great!

Loved the food & drinks. We sat at one table that the chairs felt kinda old richity but not a huge deal. My only real complaint is it's hard to find (passed it 3 times before I found it - no real sign that can be spotted from the road) and parking isn't great.

We really enjoyed our visit this past Saturday. We joined friends for an informal birthday gathering. The place was busy, but service was outstanding. Food and drinks were excellent.

Fun new place in Oak Park. The main floor is the restaurant, with great patio spaces for summer dining. Show up early and start with cocktails and appetizers downstairs in the Vinyl Lounge while listening to the dj play vintage vinyl. Then move upstairs to enjoy a great burger or schnitzel. Menu is limited, they have been open only a few months and are just sorting things out. Prices are reasonable drinks, appetizers, and dinner was under $100 for two. We will return.
