The onion bread roll & Challaha bread was really good. Unfortunately, that was about it. Everything else honestly tasted better at 5- Star bakery. (Particularly the fruit-filled pastries.)
As a whole I taste the products to be good. however the consistency of the products is extremely disappointing. take for example the snickerdoodle biscotti, I got a lb one week, and it was good, the next week I wanted the same experience, however it was overbaked to where it completely altered the taste. This is not the 1st or 2nd time I paid for a product that was overbaked. it would seem to me that overbaking is consistent at zeman's. in my opinion if you overbake something,...
I am delighted to report that Zeman's has gotten serious about customized cake decor. I ordered a 7-layer log for my mom's birthday that turned out beautiful. The handwriting and the little touches, including candy 'pearls,' made it very special.
