My liver and onions was really good, but the hash browns were way overcooked. She ordered a hot turkey sandwich because they are really good there.. now it's not real turkey it's sliced turkey lunch meat that didn't taste like turkey. Give the customers what they're used to and the business will thrive.. otherwise people will go elsewhere. Otherwise very nice little restaurant and the service is excellent, been coming here for years with friends and family.
This small town restaurant is a hidden gem that you should definitely go try! Right on M21 it is a little bit of a hike but so worth it! Their ribs are to die for, with everything smoked on site. You cant go wrong with their BBQ. They have a fish fry Friday that cant be beat, that includes things like cod and walleye. We do miss the honey shrimp they discontinued though. Mom ate a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup as did I.. the soup is to die for! We also had a late breakfast. All of it was awesome. Eggs cooked to perfection, hash browns perfect, biscuits and gravy phenomenal and the sausage?!?!?! OMG! Best sausage EVER! Mom ate 75% of her breakfast and took home the remainder for later that day.
