“Went for the first time yesterday. The food was amazing!! I had smoked meatloaf, the best I have ever had. My husband had the burrito, he said it was very good but wished he would have ordered the meatloaf or ribs. We can't wait to go back again. This will now be a frequent stop for us.”

“Absolutely the best coffee i have found. I drive 2 hours to buy their beans since finding them this summer on a trip to Owosso. The gluten free muffin was delicious. Every single employee here i have had contact with has been extremely nice, cheerful and knowledgeable when i give them questions about the coffee or the town. Heck even the regulars that come in are nice and helpful about the town. Customer service in the truest sense of the word.”

“The specialty latte choices are so hard to choose from because they all sound delicious. But I had the rocky road, iced - tasted amazing. Then I ordered a butterscotch oatmeal cookie and it tasted like heaven! Can’t wait to go back and try a different specialty latte. Praying they have another butterscotch oatmeal cookie. The prices are totally worth it.”

“First time there and it is why better than any of the asian buffets that I've had around lansing. Totally worth the drive on a lazy Sunday. The quality of the food was very good. It's a very clean and welcoming atmosphere with attentive and kind service. The only think I didn't like was the chicken stick, but lots of people were getting them so maybe it's just me or I got a bad one but it tasted kind of old. Everything else was fantastic and fresh. The sushi was great and I'm a huge fan of the mostly cabbage style egg rolls they have here. Very good. Would recommend.”

“My first visit to Barrister was pleasant-nice atmosphere, really sweet waitress, and absolutely delicious food! I ordered (2) tacos (1 smoked pork and 1 smoked chicken). Both were dressed with an amazing jalapeño coleslaw! I ordered small smoked chicken salad. The ingredients were fresh (locally sourced)- I knowthiswill be on repeat! I also ordered a peach cobbler-the best I've ever had. This restaurant is absolutely worth a try--affordable, amazing food, and really sweet staff! I can't wait to bring my husband and friends!”

“Old time bar that my Dad had wanted to visit for the fish fry. He hadn't been in for 40 years, but wanted to stop in again. Food was great, fish (perch and cod) was delicious and service was spot on. Great memory and great food.”

All of the staff including the owner(Joe), are great and very welcoming. 10 out 10 recommend going if you haven't yet. Sticky burger is the best thing on the menu.”
