I wanted to like this place SO BAD but most of the food was awful. The chai tea and candied bacon was super yummy but my ‘traditional breakfast’ was terrible. Cold and chewy eggs and hash browns. I ordered my eggs over medium, they came over hard. My hash browns tasted like plastic and I literally only ate the toast. The server was nice and the atmosphere is cute but I would not go back.

Anna's House in Okemos is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in the area! The food is always excellent—everything tastes fresh, clean, and made to order. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but I highly recommend trying the fresh-squeezed juice—it's worth every penny! The vibrant flavors will brighten up your morning.

One thing to note: the waitlist time is a bit misleading. They're always busy, but be sure to check in before you arrive; it dramatically reduces your wait. I do wish the waiting area was a little larger to accommodate the crowd, but the food and service more than make up for it. Definitely worth the visit!

As a gluten free person, I always wanted to try this brunch place out! When I tell you my gluten-loving friends were in heaven as much as I was, I mean it. The server marked my food as GF for my celiac which was perfect. I never had any reaction to the food here, and I plan to return again whether to sit down or take out.
Speaking of eating in, the interior is the cutest 60s diner but doesn’t offer a ton of seating. I recommend joining the online waitlist. We joined it 20 minutes early and still waited another 20 at the restaurant. Still worth the wait for me!
The fresh squeeze orange juice is delicous and worth the higher price than the regular orange juice.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Some are made like that, others have the options.

I need to say thank you to Anna’s House staff for helping me make our early employee appreciation breakfast a hit! To start the menu options were not only affordable but they also had vegetarian options available. I was able to get A LOT of food for a good price. To top the cake the staff was so friendly and amazing! The manager worked with me through my missing voice to take the order days before, she had an itemized receipt ready for me and then the cooking staff helped me get it out to my truck. Also the food was delicious and everyone loved it! I had some make comments saying they have been wanting to check the place out and were glad they got to try it, and how they enjoyed their meal. You have a customer for next year that’s for sure!

We finally had time in the a.m. to visit Anna's House and our experience far exceeded our expectations. The decor is very inviting with a Vegas Style Retro feel. The menu was also impressive with selections that far ourwey any other diner in the area. I chose the banana Carmel French toast and used the leftover to make a chocolate banana bread when I got home... it was That Good!
Best of all was our waitress Audrey. She could not have been more professional and accommodating. Im pleased to say...
This will be a Weekly Stop from here on out.

This place is trash!!!
1 hour and 45 min wait for food that was junk!
I will NEVER eat here again!
Super pricey and couldn't finish my food...
If you like to be robbed and leave hungry this is the place for you!
Staff was nice but I came for food not conversation.
Good luck, see for yourself if you dare!!
Clam to be #1 breakfast but taco bell is better!

#1 WORST BREAKFAST place I have ever been! Flap jack shack is way better!

Save your time!
McDonald's is better!
All said and done it was $100 foe 3 people!
Best part was the staff!!
Never again!
See for yourself but you have been warned.....

Not only do you get scammed for your money but the portion sizes are an insult. I have been to this location for in dining and have not had a bad experience, but today for carry out was the complete opposite. I ordered a menu item which I had last time I dined in and the portion sizes were completely different not only did they forget the avocado on top, but I paid extra for a extra egg and the portion size was extremely underwhelming.

The description reads “ LAYERS OF BAKED CORN TORTILLAS, MONTEREY JACK CHEESE, & RED ENCHILADA SAUCE. FINISHED WITH CREMA, HOUSE-MADE POBLANO HOLLANDAISE, COTIJA CHEESE, TWO EGGS, AVOCADO, & CILANTRO.” But my to go order was not only in accurate but poorly packaged as well. I ordered a extra egg & they forgot the avocado.

The issues with this location are

1. Extreme price gouging. Plan on spending A minimum of $25 plus for a kids meal portion entree.

2. Accuracy of items on the menu are incorrect upon Delivery.

The food is excellent. It's one of the few places we can get a gluten free meal that's taste good also. The wait staff is excellent.
I am disappointed by the check in process. We checked in online, but it doesn't mean anything. People who came in after us were seated before us. This has not happened the many times we've eaten here previously.
Bussing tables was slow and seemed inefficient.

Food quality is worth paying the extra for. The staff and the overall atmosphere are incredibly welcoming. And they are willing to cater to some special food requests. Great place to start off your morning on the right foot.

Vegetarian options: They also have a wide variety of vegan options.

Parking: They tend to be very busy, so the parking spots fill up fast.

Kid-friendliness: They have kid menus and high chairs.

Gluten free food options have shrunk, the whole menu has shrunk to the point that if you don’t want $10 waffle don’t come here. Paid an outrageous amount for food and it was cold and bland. Super disappointed.
