Although Anna’s House is known as a popular local breakfast spot in East Lansing, my experience was a bit disappointing. I arrived about an hour before closing and ordered breakfast. I did notice a hair in my scrambled eggs but chose to ignore it. Later, when I asked if I could wait inside briefly for my Lyft, the response I received felt a little dismissive, which affected my overall impression.
I came for my birthday brunch, food was good and are our waitress was great and friendly. The bathrooms were very cold but the rest of the place felt fine. The sad part is that I lost my brand new beanie hat here. 😞 I hope whoever took it really needed it…
Baileigh was our server and she could not have been kinder. She was attentive and super hardworking. I wasn’t sure what to get and she gave me very helpful suggestions. The overall environment was very homey and fun. 10/10 would come again.
