Stopped in for a late dinner with family at the end of a long travel day. Wasn't busy and we were seated pretty much immediately. Margherita 8 square and Buddy Brew definitely hit the spot and Andersen our waitress was attentive and friendly.

We recently celebrated my son's graduation at **Buddy's Pizza in Okemos**, and I can’t say enough good things. We had a large group, and every single person was raving about the food—especially the **pizza, wings, and salads**. The quality and flavor were top-notch across the board.
What really blew us away, though, was how incredible their **gluten-free options** were. Several in our party need to eat gluten-free, and they were **absolutely amazed**—they said it was hands-down the **best gluten-free pizza and wings** they've ever had. A couple of them already plan to come back, even though they live an hour away!
The vibe inside is great too—**lots of TVs playing sports** for fans who want to catch the game, but also plenty of cozy seating if you’re looking for a more **relaxed space to chat and enjoy a meal**.
If you haven’t been to Buddy’s yet—whether you eat gluten-free or not—**get over there and bring your friends**. You won’t be disappointed.

Buddy’s makes a great Detroit pizza and their basic Buddy Bread is maybe the best breadstick in town. Not too greasy, toothsome crust and lots of them in an order. Take out containers make anything that should be crispy soggy (like their fried veggie app) though, so better to save those for dining in.
Their deteoit style pizza is to die for! They also have gluten free options for pizza!

I had been wanting to try out Buddy’s pizza after hearing about it from others. I decided to try it for lunch and had a good experience. I love the authentic Detroit style pizza and the Vernor’s float (it doesn’t get much more Michigan than that)! I went for lunch and was happy that they had several lunch specials. However, it would be nice to offer a pizza with more than 1 topping for the special. The restaurant was impeccably clean and the staff were friendly. If you want to have a true Michigan eating experience, Buddy’s is a good bet!
