Knowledgeable staff. Hibachi is amazing. But we frequent their Sushi bar quite often. Never had bad service. Always kind and helpful staff.

We drove over an hour to pick up my daughter in Okemos and we were really looking forward to coming here. It was my birthday celebration. We had reservations at 8 o’clock. We were seated at 7:50 And we never saw anybody until 810… Where we did get our soup and salad and then we sat there for over an hour… The waiter told us that we would get free appetizers for our wait….. And those never came. The hibachi chef finally showed up and never asked us how we wanted Or anything… He started banging his spatula and knife on the grill and effort to put on a show, but his spatula went flying and hit my daughter’s sauce sending it everywhere all over….he just grabbed it back and started banging them again and this time dropped it on the floor… the veggie tray went flying off his cart,,, he started cooking the rice and then just left….. gone. We asked the waiter to clean up all the sauce that was splattered all over my daughter’s area and he just handed her a roll of paper towel and told her to clean it up. It was then that we LEFT!! I do believe this was the worst experience of my life. I will never ever go back there again!!!!

Waited over an hour, got told we would get free appetizers because of the wait and those never showed up. Hibachi chef finally came out, making a mess. Spilling food and sauce everywhere. Starts his show and completely throws the spatula at my plate sending sauce flying everywhere. The waiter was notified and he handed me a rag to clean it up myself. Got up and left after that. Total nightmare and waste of time. Staff is totally incompetent.

Probably one of the worst Hibachis I've been to, good service just not very good food and the floors were covered in a weird sheen of what seemed to be Grease or degreaser that wasn't mopped up correctly.

The food was good, but not as good as you'd expect based on prices. The service was slow, which was a bit surprising given that the restaurant was mostly empty.

First I want o say our waitress was great. But with that said compared to other Japanese steakhouse we have been to this was probably the worst. We could not be seated on the hibachi side. Not a big deal as we have seen the show before. But just because we sat on the sushi side shouldn't mean our food is different. We were not given the shrimp appetizer that comes with each meal. My scallops were so small and they were shredded into even smaller pieces. The rest of my familys steak was over cooked, the veggies were way under cooked, some were cold and everything was under seasoned. It was definitely not worth the cost.

Maki Maki spicy tuna roll with four signature sauces was maybe the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Good service and great beer prices too.

Rick was phenomenal, legit the best service and kindness I’ve ever seen in an establishment. I will be back solely based on how good he was. Food was great

My family and I eat here often and mostly take out, the last two times we’ve ordered the fried rice has been way over cooked. This last time we ordered both sushi and Hibachi and our sauces were not put in our orders, the sauce is essential! Also the fried rice was sooooo over cooked this time. Everyone is really friendly but I feel like quality is going downhill greatly, we hope that the quality will return to what it was in the past.

We went here on Valentine's Day. Yes they were packed. They were busy. We ordered as soon as the server got to our table. We ordered sushi and an appetizer, then we put our dinner order in as well at the same time. The server who was very nice and overworked while trying to juggle at least 10 tables on her own. Let us know that our entrees would be a while. We understood. Our sushi came out rather fast and it was delicious, we waited and waited and waited almost an hour and never got our other appetizer, finally our server came over and said she thinks someone took our appetizer and she had to put it back in. Another half hour our food comes out with our appetizer, at the same time. I ordered the teriyaki salmon and I added on filet mignon. What I got was four pieces of chewy grizzly steak. Definitely not filet mignon. My husband ordered shrimp and steak and his steak was the exact same as my supposed filet mignon. But he got five pieces and five little shrimp. For $42 it didn't seem worth it. Our fried rice was just soaked in oil. The vegetables were hard. I told the server I could not justify paying 18 extra dollars for the filet mignon because it was not that. We both had ordered our meat medium rare and it was very well done. She took the 18 off but our bill still came to $103 without tip. We definitely tipped her good but we couldn't believe we spent $103 and we were not even full and we were very dissatisfied. Only reason I gave anything any stars is because the server was very nice and was trying very hard. Wish we would have left left after our sushi. We could have saved so much money and not been disappointed.

Brought 5 people here for dinner the waitress was great. Guy cooking messed up my son's order gave him steak instead of salmon. Didn't ask us how we liked our doness of steak which was over done.. Burnt all vegetables and shrimp which he discarded 2 shrimp an continued to serve the other 4. Spent way too much money for so little taste. Won't be returning here. Management did try to make it right tho good on them.

Compared to other hibachi restaurants, their food wasn't great. One egg in the fried rice for 8 people. Pay extra for fried rice and noodles (standard at most hibachi places). The soup tasted bad. No one in my group of 8 liked it. The shrimp were underseasoned. The cook was nice. The waiter was nice (but a little overworked with 5 tables). It's not that it was awful; it just wasn't good and there are plenty of other hibachi places that get it right. Wouldn't go back.
