Leelanau Wine Cellars Tasting Room

We had a great time at Leelanau Wine Cellars! Beautiful view right on the bay. But the best thing was the service we had. Mark helped us through our tasting, guiding us through the list and recommending selections with stories on each wine. We have always enjoyed a LWC wine that we had found in stores; however, this tasting room is special as you can buy wines not found in stores. We left with a case. We'll be sure to make a stop next time we're near!

Big shout out to Matthew and the team at LWC. We visited LWC for a wine tasting in 2021 and came away with a pair of really nice tasting glasses. Recently,, while washing one of the glasses, it slipped out of my hand and broke. I emailed LWC asking if it was possible to obtain a replacement. They responded within a few hours that they would be happy to replace it. I was so pleased by their immediate willingness to try and accommodate me that I ended up ordering a half a case of wine as well! This is what great customer service feels like!

We stopped by here for a tasting and everything we tried was very good. The prices are amazing too and only around $10 a bottle. Tastings were only $5 and free earlier in the week. The winery is right on the coast so the view is beautiful.

Very good and unique wines. They even have fruit wine made from other fruits besides grapes. Some surprisingly tasty fall wine, and a beautiful view make this place one of our favorites. The lady behind the bar was very nice too.

By far the best of the wine tastings we toured in the area. Sue was very engaging and knowledgeable. We caught the free tasting Mon-wed. Smart marketing. We bought some good wine! Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Delicious wine, great customer service, and an amazing view! Knowing that I buy this wine in stores, I'm glad I was able to go and check out Leelanau Cellars, and see the production facility up the road. Very cool!!

All around excellent, best Michigan wine I've had! A large tasting menu and a gorgeous view. We've come about once a year and there have been new wines to try each time.

Mark led us through a tasting and he was amazing! Showed us some wine we wouldn’t have originally thought to try and ended up loving it and bought multiple bottles. Mark is the best!

We caught this place after a day at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. They offer free tastings Mon-Wed and we enjoyed 5 different selections. Signed up for their free-to-join wine club too because we love their wines so much! (Free tastings any day, free glass of wine when you visit, and discounts!). A beautiful tasting room overlooking Omena/Grand Traverse Bay. ? We look forward to going back to pick up our wine order in the fall!

My husband and I stopped by on our drive through the Leelanau Peninsula. This has always been one of our go-to wines in the store and the tasting room did not disappoint. The views of the bay were gorgeous, the wine was all excellent, and I cannot say enough good things about Mark. He was attentive and recommended different wines based on our taste pallet and I was not disappointed once. Definitely come here and ask for Mark!
