“My wife and I tonight celebrated our anniversary by driving up to Omena to go to Knot just A Bar. The location right on the water was a drawing card, as well as being a sister to Rico's. I ordered the whitefish parmesan and my wire, the salmon. Portions were good sized, tastes were superb, and our server very attentive to our needs. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant , Nautical, on the water. A must stop if you/re looking for a restaurant in the greater Grand Traverse /Leelanau area .You won't be disappointed!!”

“I had a sandwich at Lylah’s today, amazing quality and could easily had fed two people. The flavor was incredible. I am happy to say this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Leelanau county. “Came in for dinner and really enjoyed the warm, classic tavern environment. The servers are wonderfully welcoming, and listening to stories from the locals at the bar is easily the best part of being here.

As for the meal, the food was alright—perfectly fine tavern fare, though the prices feel a bit steep for what you get. You're definitely paying a bit of a premium for the location, but the cozy vibe, friendly service, and local charm make it a fun spot to sit down, grab a drink, and catch up.”

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. I sat down and immediately signed up for the wine club because I knew this was something I wanted to support! And yes, the server was new this season but very knowledgeable and warm. No high-brow wine snobbery here! P.S. wine and cheese pairings are fantastic.”

“This is a very special winery. I have been a member for about 20 years. The service is excellent along with award winning wines. It is a very comfortable atmosphere. It is a must stop.”

“I've been to a lot of breweries but I couldn't wait to leave this one fast enough. The place was very dirty and run down. I'm an outdoor person but I couldn't walk through the joint without nats flying up my nose. There were bags of trash next to our table. The floors were covered in dirt and weeds outside. They obviously take no pride in their bulding and land. The beer was good, but didn't mind the extra protein. I never leave reviews, but I had too. The two stars are for the beer and the pizza looked good. Although there were some definite health code violations with the food. It would take so little to make this place great. Definitely disappointed.”

We loved learning about wine and it was so fun to hear her process for selecting the yummy cheeses and snacks that highlight the wines. “Truly a special meal. This was BETTER than the photos. Every single thing we ate (baked mozzarella, parfait, salmon Benedict, apple pancake) was so incredibly delicious. Honestly the best meal of the trip. Service was also wonderful. So glad we made the trip out here.”

“We ate here about an hour before a concert so we were expecting a long wait for not only a table but hour meals. Turns out wasn't the case, there were plenty of tables/booths. Food is sort of what you would expect a casino/burger bar but a better. Had plenty of options, including daily specials. Service was quick and helpful. Thank you again!”
