This is such a great place! Service was exceptional... friendly and prompt. Food was indulgent comfort food. We enjoyed everything and sadly had no room for pie (guess we will need to come back)! Don't miss the cheese curds! And the country fried steak with gravy was great with one of the best rolls I've had in any restaurant.
We had dinner and breakfast here while on a bicycle trip and found this to be a deservedly popular place. The food was good, though in the evening it was very busy and the staff scurried around to keep up and did a good job of it. Breakfast was more unhurried. I'd recommend this place for any meal of the day.
As someone who’s came here since I was 5 I will say it has changed a lot over the last 20 years. The staff are super sweet, food is pretty good, we did get fried cod and my husband switched to baked after trying it but all in all it’s still a great restaurant with an amazing salad/soup bar.
