Great food and incredibly good service! It's a rare thing anymore to have a server that seems to genuinely care that you have a pleasurable dining experience. The bread sticks were fantastic! The pizza was good, and the bear bait fries (poutine) had the perfect balance of fries, cheese curds, and gravy. The dessert dishes are phenomenal! Will mark this as a favorite for my next trip to Cheboygan.
This is such a great place! Service was exceptional... friendly and prompt. Food was indulgent comfort food. We enjoyed everything and sadly had no room for pie (guess we will need to come back)! Don't miss the cheese curds! And the country fried steak with gravy was great with one of the best rolls I've had in any restaurant.
We had dinner and breakfast here while on a bicycle trip and found this to be a deservedly popular place. The food was good, though in the evening it was very busy and the staff scurried around to keep up and did a good job of it. Breakfast was more unhurried. I'd recommend this place for any meal of the day.
