Lahey's Pub is a local favorite -- great people serving creative cocktails and the vibe is laid-back and relaxed. Laura, Jamil and the rest of the gang are always welcoming. Grab some pizza or a salad from Portage Point Pizzeria and Cafe' with an ice-cold beer from Lahey's Pub and relax on the porch. Beautiful Portage Lake makes for an amazing view! It doesn't get any better than that.

After having a pleasant prolonged stroll with a friend out to the beach area on a scalding hot day, we headed to get some ice cream, and before departing, I wanted to rehydrate, so I noticed the smallish bar-looking spot and extrapolated that I'd proceed there as there wasn't anyone else frankly there which for an introvert it was excellent as it was just the two bar gentlewomen.
