Very friendly service! The menu offers a good variety and there were lots of hard serve ice cream too choose from. Unfortunately I chose a flavor of ice cream that clearly had the reminants of the previous container dumped on top. The ice cream tasted like freezer burn. Prices are a bit steep, but it is a tourist area. I would recommend, but taste your ice cream before you get going down the road or sample first to avoid the freezer burn taste.
Although this location has always been an ice cream shop, the new owners have really bumped up the quality of everything you see and eat: nice seating inside and outside, lovely flowers, clean surroundings, good ice cream, friendly staff, and the food, WOW, it’s really good. The Rueben was absolutely delicious and totally exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it. My husband had the King Kielbasa and loved it (be ready for a huge portion). The menu is extensive...
If you are anywhere near Onekama, make sure you stop by this place. The Park Reuben was the best reuben I’ve ever had and you can easily tell the high quality of the ingredients. The corned beef was tender and not overly salty, the house dressing was delicious and the sauerkraut seemed like a cherished family recipe. My husband had the 1 lb King Kielbasa which he naively thought he’d save half for lunch….Nope. It was perfectly cooked, no sad boil...
