Paul's is an area staple established in 1944. It's attached to the AmericInn. We had a table by the window for a weekday dinner in July. There weren't many people there. The wildfire smoke was bad and kept people indoors. The service was friendly and quick. They played a Michael Jackson greatest hits playlist which we enjoyed and it was a good conversation starter. The staff told us the play the same playlist every night at 8pm. We enjoyed looking out the window...
Ate here a few times this week. Both Joe and (I believe) Mariam were very friendly and fun to talk with.
Food portions were quite generous; prices were more than fair. Their alcohol prices are insanely low imo.

I’m shocked by the poor reviews of this restaurant. We were there a few weeks ago and ate there two evenings. It was delicious!! We are super picky and found the food to be very fresh and most importantly HOMEMADE. No GFS garbage here so if that’s what you’re used to, you will be disappointed. We tried the Brussels sprouts, jalapeño cheese curds, chicken fingers, Lumberjack chicken, truffle fries, and smoked salmon crostini. I’m craving it thinking about it right now....
