We had dinner after visiting Lake of the Clouds. It wasn't very busy and we were able to get a table for 4. The menu is mostly burgers and pizza. They also have salads and a special. We ordered burgers and the special penne with meat sauce. You order at the register then they give you a number and deliver your food when it's ready. Everyone enjoyed their food. The interior has a northern rustic lodge feel. Yellow pine and taxidermy on the walls. There's a huge gift...
My family and I stopped by on our vacation this past month, where we purchased a meal and some souvenirs. When we returned to our campground, which was 4 1/2 hours away from Porkies Outpost, my sweatshirt was unfortunately burnt from the campfire. They were so kind when we called and sent us a brand new sweatshirt! Such an amazing group of people!
Great little store & restaurant. It was a relaxing afternoon for us so we enjoyed the down time while we waited for our food. They do a fantastic job of taking care of customers with limited staffing by having you order at the cashier and then go to a table. Looking forward to going back & trying something else next time!
