I've only been there a few times, ( 6 years apart ), but it remains the same. A historic, friendly, must see again bar. For history & bars, this place is the one.

My grandmother was born and raised in Ontonagon, when she found out we were going she told me we had to stop at Stubbs! The legend is still living and doing great!! We were greeted by friendly bartenders and other patrons. They told us the story behind the bar and all of the "stuff" everywhere. It really is a museum! It is the place to go if you are staying in Ontonagon for the weekend - you won't be disappointed!!! Ps. It's a cash bar so bring your cash money!

Good service and very unique. Worth seeing but it's a beer and whiskey kind of place so leave it at that. So much to look at.. just random stuff. That's it.

This is a really cool place. We stopped in at the end of our day for a couple drinks. They treated us like friends. Bartender was a hoot. Lot of fun.

Interesting bar, unfriendly locals. We just sat at the bar and tried to chat, but the guy next to us muttered to the bartender that people who don't belong here shouldn't come in.
