Awesome Bar. So unique.. Its like from an action movie. I love it!!! Got some games(video) ,Pool tables (2 of them) and enough booze to make good girls ,go bad!They serve homemade pizza loud music and atmosphere! If you are here... do yourself a favor and check it out! Seriously!!
Friendly bartenders, nice regulars, good drinks and beers, what's not to like? The place is decorated in a great North Woods style as well. My wife and I stopped in on an October (originally wrote September, oops!) Sunday and they not only had a regular Sunday bar snack selection (eg chips/dip, small sliced meat sandwiches), somebody made very delicious gumbo! My grandmother was born and raised in Ontonagon, when she found out we were going she told me we had to stop at Stubbs! The legend is still living and doing great!! We were greeted by friendly bartenders and other patrons. They told us the story behind the bar and all of the "stuff" everywhere. It really is a museum! It is the place to go if you are staying in Ontonagon for the weekend - you won't be disappointed!!! Ps. It's a cash bar so bring your cash money!
