Kids personal pizza with house made dough and sweet-savory sauce. Other kid got the fish & chips; delivered crisp, generous pieces that vanished fast. Wife’s chicken pasta was a tangy and good portion. My cheeseburger on its signature oddly flat in-house bun tasted great. Overall good food, waitress was young, shy, and definitely new but did a good job.
We have been going to Red Knapps for about 20 years now. For some time, there was a location nearer our home in Clarkston, but it closed. I really miss the Traverse City Chicken from it. Some of the Clarkston personnel ended up at the Oxford location, but they didn't make the offering a regular one there for some reason. Too bad. I like the hamburgers, pizza and fish offerings at the Oxford location.
May 14, 2026 at 1:30 pm: Our group of 25 arrived for a wake. There was one waitress for our group and she did extraordinarily well. Got all the drink orders out quickly then took food orders. The kitchen pumped out all the orders rather quickly. Good food. Again, the waitress did an extraordinary job.
