Red's Root Beer Reviews
Just had a late lunch and the staff was delightful, root beer - top notch, burgers and fries on point. Love supporting this local treasure! ❤️
Phenomenal! We were in the area from an hour north and happened to come across Reds on a whim and are so glad we did. Our son had never been to a drive in root beer stand or anything of the type until tonight. He thought it was the coolest thing. Food was delicious, service was exceptional; fast and friendly. We already plan to come back. Definitely recommend!
Great food and great service. We were waited on immediately and our food came out quick!!! It was all great!!!

Red's Root Beer offers a fun drive-in experience with great service. The food is good, featuring classic hot dogs, creative options, and signature baskets like the Chicago dog basket and Red's Deluxe. The root beer is a highlight, served in frosted mugs with free refills, and many agree it is the best they have ever had. The restaurant is kid-friendly, boasting a great kids' menu and patient staff. Visitors often praise the quick service and delicious food, including must-try fried pickles, crispy tater tots, and fries. The vintage-inspired atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a popular spot for families, dates, or solo lunches. Red's is a true old-fashioned drive-in eatery, reminiscent of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, complete with picnic tables and at least 20 drive-in spots to accommodate many customers. Parking can be challenging due to its popularity, but nearby spots may be available. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a positive experience. The menu also features favorites like the olive burger, onion rings, and the all-beef 3/4 pound foot-long hot dogs. Prices are reasonable, and the experience makes Red's worth every cent. It is important to note that this is a seasonal spot, typically closing at the end of October and reopening in March.
