Pentwater House of Flavors

Amazing experience today. We surprised the business with 20 unexpected customers as soon as they opened. We were treated with courtesy and respect, and enjoyed a delicious meal even though the only employees there were the two owners. They had additional responsibilities besides our group, but treated us like royalty. We were impressed and grateful.

Veteran owned establishment. Great food (standard fare coney/wraps/chicken wraps etc...) plus Ice Cream Shop. Staff was very nice!

Yummy! Great atmosphere!!

I've only ever gotten ice cream here. The ice cream has been good, the service has been good. When we visit, it's a staple that we always end up going to. I have never tried the restaurant so I cannot comment on that.

Tons of flavors!

Typical ice cream shop up north. The lines were longer than some of the others so I guess people think the ice cream is better.

BEST BLT and fries in town at a very affordable price for a summer resort town! I should know. I've ordered three BLT sandwiches already in four days.

Our favorite place!

I’ve been going here since I was 3 years old and was really disappointed stopping in on Memorial day. The prices are unreasonably high, the staff was pretty rude and for the most part just stood around while there was a line out the door. I asked for a side of sprinkles because my cone had hardly any on it and was denied. The place feels unfortunately very corporate and not much like the small town ice cream shop my family has known to love.

Unpleasant staff with attitude like other reviews say. Vanilla dairy free Ice cream doesn't have any vanilla flavor at all and it's very watery with no taste of any oat milk in it which is known for its creaminess in plant based milk selection. They had a hard time scooping it because it's mostly water. But as I asked for a refund due to a very unpleasant flavor I was met with rudeness and condescension trying tell me that oat milk is not creamy because it's not milk. Like it's my 1st time having a diary-free ice cream. Rude and unnecessary. STAY AWAY!

Went out of our way to go here to get vegan ice cream with my kids. They only have dole whip even though vegan chocolate is listed online. Fine I can deal with that minor disappointment. But then as we’re here one of the workers started yelling and chastising an elderly man who was CLEARLY looking for a restroom because he went into a space where he wasn’t supposed to go. The girl lost it and treated him like he was trying to rob the store. After he explained he was looking for a bathroom she told him she’d call the cops if he ever went behind the blocked off area again. Which it wasn’t even blocked off where he went, it was an easy mistake. She tried to embarrass him on purpose and it was shameful. Really classless move. The guy was there having ice cream with his young granddaughter. It was so wildly inappropriate that I will never come back here. Whoever owns this place should rly check on their employees talking to customers like that. Gave me the ick!!
