I only went for a show and to play
Good place to have fun!!
I did not stay at the hotel, but my family and I went for Bingo night. We were totally new to it, and the hosts were so nice and patient with us. They continued to check in on us to make sure we were keeping up with the games. The Bingo area is large and comfortable. I do wish they had a bigger option for refreshments, such as a coffee machine that will do a cappuccino or hot chocolate. We didn’t win money, but we still had lots of fun. Can’t wait to go back.
Gamble only
We had received mail offer of promo play (each) and a room. The offer implied Turtle Creek & Lelanau Sands. When we presented our offers at player club they said it was for Turtle Creek. Since we had a 5th wheel travel trailer we asked if they would comp our stay in RV Camping ($25./ nite) The answer was no.....because of the necessity to not change codes? So we stayed @ the RV Site with no water, no dumpster station, no cable TV and no cooperation. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Small homey casino, great location. This is a very scenic drive worth doing, slow down and enjoy the views.
Did well here on various slots.
Make no mistake. This is a casino and thus as such you will lose money, but these slots seem to be the most tight in Northern Michigan aside from Turtle Creek.
The hotel and casino are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you enjoy gambling and take part in any of the local players clubs programs this casino is not for you. Within about 1.5 hrs you can enjoy a better players incentive program with either Odawa or Little River. In 2024 LSC have redone their free play which is finally aligned with other casinos but their promotions are lacking and not nearly as good as other casinos like Little River or Bay Mills. Honestly Bay Mills is probably the best but also around 3 hrs north but free beer and also free swag like hoodies and coats.
Its a smaller casino with limited options. I won't go out of my way to return. If im driving past to enjoy some wineries, I would stop to try my luck
