“We ate here about an hour before a concert so we were expecting a long wait for not only a table but hour meals. Turns out wasn't the case, there were plenty of tables/booths. Food is sort of what you would expect a casino/burger bar but a better. Had plenty of options, including daily specials. Service was quick and helpful. Thank you again!”

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. I sat down and immediately signed up for the wine club because I knew this was something I wanted to support! And yes, the server was new this season but very knowledgeable and warm. No high-brow wine snobbery here! P.S. wine and cheese pairings are fantastic.”

Everything was above and beyond what was described when booking. Beautiful property a short drive from Sutton’s Bay where several unique shops offer something to do if the weather turns.”

“Bel Lago is such a beautiful spot with stunning lake views and always amazing live music. My favorite part is seeing their garden in full bloom during the summer it’s absolutely magical. Their experimental takes on wines and delicious aged reds always impress, and it’s such a treat when Blake, the winemaker, pops into the tasting room (it’s so interesting to hear what he’s working on in the cellar).”

“I've been to a lot of breweries but I couldn't wait to leave this one fast enough. The place was very dirty and run down. I'm an outdoor person but I couldn't walk through the joint without nats flying up my nose. There were bags of trash next to our table. The floors were covered in dirt and weeds outside. They obviously take no pride in their bulding and land. The beer was good, but didn't mind the extra protein. I never leave reviews, but I had too. The two stars are for the beer and the pizza looked good. Although there were some definite health code violations with the food. It would take so little to make this place great. Definitely disappointed.”

“The outside is inviting but the middle aged lady inside taking the orders was straight up rude and their ordering process is out of the whack. Basic sandwiches. Soups were phenomenal. Basic wine list. Overall not very pleasant.”

“This place may be ranked #2 beer garden in the US, but I can guarantee the #1 beer garden is nowhere near as good as Hop Lot. Their brisket sandwich was very delicious. The pretzels were also super good. I was here for a Bachelors trip and was a little tipsy and they treated me very well. They were very helpful and several waiters checked on me throughout. We need to make this place the #1 beer garden because this place is a must if you are in the area.”

“Truly a special meal. This was BETTER than the photos. Every single thing we ate (baked mozzarella, parfait, salmon Benedict, apple pancake) was so incredibly delicious. Honestly the best meal of the trip. Service was also wonderful. So glad we made the trip out here.”
