“We ate here about an hour before a concert so we were expecting a long wait for not only a table but hour meals. Turns out wasn't the case, there were plenty of tables/booths. Food is sort of what you would expect a casino/burger bar but a better. Had plenty of options, including daily specials. Service was quick and helpful. Thank you again!”

“We had a wonderful visit to Shady Lane Cellars while we were in the Traverse City area. Sitting outside with a glass of wine made for such a relaxing afternoon—the vineyard views are beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful. Our favorite was the Pinot Gris. It was crisp, refreshing, and the perfect wine to enjoy on a warm day. The staff was friendly and made the tasting experience enjoyable without ever feeling rushed. We’d definitely come back on our next trip!”

“Green Bird is a little slice of Heaven! They even practice sustainable farming via their “flerd“ (flock of chickens and herd of sheep) who rotate through each row of vines. “I've been to a lot of breweries but I couldn't wait to leave this one fast enough. The place was very dirty and run down. I'm an outdoor person but I couldn't walk through the joint without nats flying up my nose. There were bags of trash next to our table. The floors were covered in dirt and weeds outside. They obviously take no pride in their bulding and land. The beer was good, but didn't mind the extra protein. I never leave reviews, but I had too. The two stars are for the beer and the pizza looked good. Although there were some definite health code violations with the food. It would take so little to make this place great. Definitely disappointed.”

“Truly a special meal. This was BETTER than the photos. Every single thing we ate (baked mozzarella, parfait, salmon Benedict, apple pancake) was so incredibly delicious. Honestly the best meal of the trip. Service was also wonderful. So glad we made the trip out here.”

“WOW. This restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely incredible— the chicken in the Pad Thai was so juicy and delicious. The medium level was great spice, I asked for extra spice and she brought a dish of their signature spice mix (the chef grows the chilis in the garden out back) and WOW. It was spicy!! Truly such an amazing spot!! We will definitely be back next time we visit!”
