Reminds me of an old school Speak Easy from the 1920's. It's like being transported back in time. The atmosphere alone makes the place appealing but the magnificent humidor is pretty impressive all by itself. This is the most perfect cigar lounge I've ever visited. I will be visiting Ernestos every time I'm in Petoskey from here on out. Hoping and praying they are able to renegotiate their lease, or find another place soon. I'd REALLY hate to see them close down.
It's a very confusing setup but the service is pretty good after you figure out what's going on. When you walk in, nobody really greets you, and It's kind of confusing how to get the cigars and a drink. You have to wait for the bartenders to let you into the humidor and they stand in there with you. Kinda odd from all the cigar bars I've been to. If you want to keep your drinks full, sit at the bar if possible... It seems like they forget about you if you're not close to the bartenders...read full review

This is THE SPOT! As a 23 three year old, this is an amazing hidden gem. Amazing drinks, fantastic cigars and great environment. Super nice and friendly service, very unsettling that they're being forced to close by the landlord at end of year. Who wouldn't want Ernesto's around... HIGHLY recommend stopping by throughout this year!! 20/10 experience every single time! - Jack
