Even though the place was pretty quiet, the food was insanely good! Def recommend the Detroit slider and add an egg and bacon and get the patties smashed 💯 garlic aioli and comeback sauce are amazing too. Might be the best burger I’ve ever had at a local restaurant and same goes for the wings too. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Def will be back when in the Charlevoix area.
Okay, I just need to take a minute to say that these are EASILY the best sliders you could ever find in Northern Michigan. If you ever come here, I recommend getting the Hot Chicken as it’s Nashville done right. Stop by if you ever get the chance!
I’ve always enjoyed the burgers and the service, but the last two times I went to the Back Lot in Charlevoix, there were children running around and playing in the kitchen. I suppose some restaurants allow to bring your kids to work, but this is a small open space and a turn off. I ate at the outside food trucks both times. Maybe I’ll try again sometime. Or I’ll go to the Petoskey location.
