Used to love this place until we saw the flag lowered to half staff for a Presidential order (that's not mandated for private businesses). When we asked the staff why, they didn't really have an answer as to why.

We visited this afternoon for dinner and drinks. A very large crowd that they were unaware was coming showed up. They handled everything perfectly and quickly! They were very apologetic about the situation and noise level to the regular crowd, I told them it is what it is and that I hoped they give them a great review which I am rating them a perfect 10 they sent everyone that was there after the crowd left a free bottle for being inconvenienced, what a great business for caring!!! Thanks Gypsy we are local and will continue to give you our support!!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding ceremony at Gypsy this past June, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was wonderful to work with, and the Event Coordinator, Kaeli, was truly exceptional. She was patient, organized, and incredibly easy to communicate with, which helped take the stress out of planning and allowed us to fully enjoy our big day. The venue itself is stunning, which made everything even more special. We highly recommend Gypsy and their amazing team for weddings or any special event!

We had the absolute best experience at Gypsy Distillery thanks to Mike and Doug! They went above and beyond to take care of our group of 12 celebrating a bachelorette. From start to finish, their service was flawless. Both were attentive, organized, and among the best bartenders I have ever had. They made our night so fun especially for a last minute decision coming out there.

Visited with our dogs, so we had to sit outside, but had a wonderful leisurely lunch in a beautiful setting. We both checked out the indoors - both cozy and stunning. Food was yummy and drinks quite spectacular!
Very nice place to visit. Staff is very helpful. Nice sitting room to enjoy a cocktail or 2 or 3+. Took some bottles home to enjoy and made our own whiskey sours. All of the bottles we enjoyed are VERY smooth tasting and pack a punch. Cheers!

Petoskey is my hometown, to bring in this distillery has done wonders. As I sit here right at this very moment, I am so impressed with the employees the bartenders and the environment. I even called my daughter and told her she should hold her wedding from Maryland to this venue outstanding. I am here for the Irish boat show, I tried the hibachi food truck wow so delicious and the gypsy drinks are out of this world! I couldn’t resist buying a tie-dye sweatshirt!!!

We held our rehearsal dinner here on June 27, 2025 and it was amazing. The communication I had ahead of time with Cerys was outstanding. Her response to my questions through email was immediate. The location was perfect and we loved the views from the balcony. We rented the room upstairs and it was perfect for our event. The bartender was great! The seating and layout were outstanding and comfortable. I would highly recommend this location for any special event. We had a great time. Thank you everyone for making our rehearsal dinner perfect.

Attended a event at this location and I was pleasantly surprised about the entire place. The building itself is beautiful with gorgeous scenery. The bartender Brian was incredible as well, he was busy but never stopped treating each customer as a VIP guest.
