I love Kilwins. This location has a big kitchen onsite to view how some of the candy is made.
The smell of chocolate hits your senses as soon as you walk through the front door! You are always greeted by warm and friendly staff. The taste testing of the fudge and ice cream is fun and tasty.
I love buying the taffy and the drinking chocolate as gifts. This year I bought not just one but 2 large chocolate turkeys as family host gifts and they were a huge success. Best chocolate around and the toasted coconut ice cream is my favorite ❤️

Oh my goodness, the smell when you walk in the door is absolutely amazing!! Samples were delicious and the staff was so friendly. We got a great variety of tasty treats to take home with us too! Definitely recommend stopping in if you get a chance.

Although it's nice to see the chocolate making process, it doesn't make the costs reasonable. The ice cream and chocolate prices are ASTRONOMICAL. The chocolate sucker pictured here was $3.99. (I guess I'm the sucker.) Do better, Kilwins.
A fun stop. We enjoyed watching them prepare sweet treats. Then we enjoyed eating those treats.
Good place to enjoy ice cream after season ends. Fantastic assortment of chocolate products. Friendly, informed staff. Can watch products being made.

We enjoyed delicious ice cream cones -- even splashed out for 2 flavors each! This was our first time at headquarters in Kilwins hometown of Petoskey. We spent at least an hour watching the dedicated workers make coconut marshmallow, solid Santa's for your stocking, and one worker diligently craft the giant milk chocolate Santa -- we got a tasty treat and a story! All folks we encountered were friendly and welcoming.
Good but, in my opinion, overpriced.

Very cool to see the staff making chocolate behind the glass. My toddler loved the giant chocolate sculptures. The chocolate is delicious, but be prepared to spend some $$$.
