My wife and I stopped in for some excellent wine flights and appetizers and had a great time! The family/staff are so accommodating and friendly, and stayed well after closing time to allow us to finish our wine and chat with us. Will be back whenever we’re in the area again!

Very disappointed with the service. The environment is beautiful and pleasant, but the good ends there. The prices are high and the menu is restricted, there are 4 food options! The worst part was when paying the bill, they offer a discount for paying in cash, but they denied me! I didn't want to argue, but I'm sure the other wineries in the region are better options than there.

Another stop on our wine adventures. Very nice venue to hangout at. Ordered at the counter. Folks are super helpful and friendly. Got a red wine flight. All were pretty good. My fav was the cab franc. A little dry and fruity. Had a long chat with the owner. Really down to earth guy. Interesting story. Outside was a little more chill than inside IMO

Food and wine were good. The four staff members basically ignored us when our group stepped up to the bar. Being our first visit there, the staff did not offer any information about the winery or the menu until we called one of them out of their personal chat session.

Had a most wonderful dinner tonight! Beautiful night to enjoy the wine and the views from the porch! Wine is delicious. The owner Laurie was the best hostess! She is warm, welcoming and funny! We loved her! Would come back just to see her! But would also get more delicious wine! Highly recommend!

Do not miss. Excellent wine, excellent beer, nice snacks with charcuterie trays. Reasonably priced, excellent view, outstanding place to stop near Petoskey. If you miss that you are missing the best winery/brewery that they have around a Petoskey area. The family that runs it does a phenomenal job and everything about it is quality.

Jesus should have made beer is the best in the world. I have traveled all over the U.S.A., England & Ireland. The best beer I have ever had comes from Mackinaw Trail Winery. Called Jesus should have made beer.
Best winery we visited all day! The wines were very good. The blackberry wine was surprisingly good enough for my wife to buy 3 bottles. They also brew beer and their "Cruisin for a brewsin " was a personal favorite. Highly recommend a visit.
