We arrived and there were few customers there. We put our records in the queue - and then waited while the wait staff (clearly bored) played their own music for an hour before moving on to ours

As a local, this is one of the best bars around. The concept is fun, and very unique.
But just like everything in this life. Patience is a virtue. You may have to wait for your record, just like you wait for your favorite song to come on the radio. Have an open mind. You may not hear your record right away, especially when there’s 100 people waiting for their records to play at 10pm on a busy Saturday night. The records that are left behind after you leave are cleared to shorten the wait time.
They make everything from scratch. Juices, syrups, recipes, blends, the whole menu is full of cocktails you can’t find anywhere else.
Imagine being mad about a small brown spot on your lime wedge and then being rude to the staff, “correcting” them. Crazy.

Cool spot. Good people. Cocktails are a bit on the high side price wise. Surely shouldn't be charging $18.50 for a cocktail and serving it with a lime that is clearly well past its prime. Very off-putting.
Hard to correct people to their face. Gotta train better than that at this price. Not the best money I spent this weekend.

Incredible drinks, terrific bartender. Truly a magnificent, music-filled time every time we visit. Beyond grateful for this location in downtown Petoskey — especially as a year-round local! 10/10, would recommend!
The cocktails are wonderful! We buy the snack mix. The record selection is massive. The problem becomes by the time you finish your drink your record is so deep in the stack. I wish you could request one song from the record and then go to the next album.

My travel partner and I stopped in to check it out and loved it! There is such a varied selection of records to choose from and the overall vibe is pretty chill. The seating is comfortable and the drinks are tasty. Both bartenders were very friendly.

A cool concept, and looked like a place I could connect with but unortunately, I discovered that if you aren't a regular, you probably won't get served or have to wait a very long time. It wasn't just myself this was happening to. The staff would make eye contact with you but continue on joking with people at the bar or talking about a record rather than offering drinks. Disappointed I wasted so much time waiting when there were other interesting places I could have been
