Being only a bit familiar with the restaurants in Petoskey we made a “lifeline” call which resulted in two recommendations. The Mitchell Street Pub then won the coin-toss. We were VERY happy with how that turned out.
Fried Mushrooms, Fried Cheese Curds, White Chicken Chili, Red Chili, two Pub Burgers, a Reuben Extraordinary, and a Pub Club… along with a few craft brews left all six of us well satisfied. The cozy feel of an unassuming eclectic hometown bar completed the experience. It’s so nice to be able to have a conversation at a larger table and not have to yell to be heard.
Very happy with the choice of restaurant, the food, the brews, and the location. We would definitely recommend the Mitchell Street Pub.

Food is great service was great this is definitely my favorite place to go when I am craving a good burger.
Nothing special. We waited 40 minutes for 2 salads. Server was not empathetic. And they didn't even make the salad how we asked. My caeser salad was just lettuce, tomatoes, and dressing, and it wasnt even tossed with the dressing. My grandma asked for no olives and they put extra! We will not be back to say the least.

Great food and beer. Decent environment, but a little tight. Service took a minute to get to us, but it didn't seem too busy. However, I think they were down to one server, so it's not their fault.

Great pub, food and service!!! Our server, Jeff, was fantastic. Highly recommend this place.
Walked in as the waitress changed the sign to seat yourself. Proceeded to go see ourselves. A different waitress came up and told us that we couldn't sit there because she had people waiting for the table. We told her they literally just changed the sign so that's why we sat down, she didn't believe us. We walked past the sign that says seat yourself as we left the establishment. If you have people waiting for tables, maybe don't change your sign to seat yourself.

We were visiting Petosky and just wanted some good, normal food. This place was SO good. Perfect bar food. Not healthy, but delicious. Had the pub burger and French dip, both delicious. Chips were warm and went great with the dip left over from the mushrooms.
This is a great little place to grab food and watch a game. We had excellent service, very friendly.
