Joe and crew made us feel welcomed. drinks were quickly served as we waited for a table, then decided to stay at the bar. between 630 and 7, there was 20 minute wait for a table. it took probably 20 minutes to get appetizers, but the rings and skins were worth the wait! we didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the food and chat with fellow bar guests. shout out to all for blessing me with hot banana peppers for my corona!!!!!! the cod and fries special was on point!!! worth mentioning, the hot sauce selection!! thanks Southwoods for a great meal!!

Delicious food, large portions with great Friendly Service and very reasonable prices. Enjoyed our dinner so much that we went back the next day for lunch while staying in Petoskey for the weekend. Will definitely be coming back for return visits! Highly Recommend!

I’ve had lunch here a couple times. Decided to try breakfast. I’ll stick to lunch from now on. Got a supreme omelet. That it self was okay. I was happy with it. The greasy, super crispy hash browns on the hand was less than desirable. Especially for the time waiting for food to come out. Waitress made yo for the long wait in the kitchen. She was incredibly nice. All and all a good spot to come.

Can you watch the game? Yes. Will it be sitting next to a grey haired lady sucking in a pork chop? Also yes... Sports bar is used very loose here. There are better places to watch sports.
Avia was an amazing hostess and sat us promptly. She was great at checking in on us, and accommodations were impeccable. My 7 yr old and 4 yr old loved having crayons and a placemat to draw on 😉😘

Waitress placed our dishes on another table and one of the dishes slipped onto the table. We were asked to pick up the food, so we could still eat it. Never offered to replace the food that fell off the plate. Emphasized it was a very clean table…

This place is very good. If you want great food, great atmosphere, and good price. This place is the spot to be. It's not in the congestion of downtown, has its own parking and charm. I highly recommend it just for the food alone.
