Great experience here the Thursday & Friday before Labor Day. Very friendly and helpful staff. In the heart of Bayview with wonderful historic homes that are beautifully maintained. If you like “new & shiny” this isn’t your place, but if you love history and historic architecture, walking tours, etc this is the place. The atmosphere is just lovely, like stepping back in time. The service is really good, even when the restaurant is surprisingly busy. The whitefish is amazing, with excellent presentation and delicious flavors. The crème brulee and Carmel pudding are also highly praised. Diners can enjoy the historic feel of the inn and the option to dine on the patio.
