Love the hometown feel of this restaurant. We visited on vacation and would 100% go back. My husband and I got the prime rib (best prime rib ever… and we’ve tried a lot!) and the walleye (also have had a lot of walleye and this was top notch). AMAZING food. Vegetables and baked potato were top notch and the bread they serve was warm and soft. Our waitress was speedy and food came out fast!

We were on our way to a pastors & spouses retreat w our church district. Our executive pastor chose this place.
We chose to dine outside. Appetizers were chips w dip & a fish dip, this was a hard/crunhy piece of bread w a fish & cream cheese spread, it was DELICIOUS!! I had a reg salad no tomato but substituted beets w a rasberry vinaigrette. The vinaigrette was a little thicker than i thought a vinaigrette shouldb. It was good, too.
Someone else ordered Side Door's pepper jack crab soup. I tried it. The 1st 2 or 3 spoonsful had a kick, then i got used to it. It's a thick soup like a potato soup consistency. I could have eaten more.
Our server, Jesse Ann(?)(I hope i got it right)was awesome, attentive, got us what we needed quickly refilled our beverages, our food was hot when we got it(cold for the salad).
I highly recommend this place.. ohhh, & the flower garden was really pretty.

I had the Side Door Saloon cater a luncheon for me and they were wonderful to work with. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. They had everything prepared, boxed up, and even helped us get it to the car. I will definitely be using them again!

The Side Door has a neighborhood bar and cabin feel. The staff was friendly and efficient. Food came out fast and was good, I enjoyed the perch sandwich. Pretty good craft beer selection.
