I got a chipotle chicken flatbread and the chicken in the middle was cold. It made it very unappetizing.

Don’t bother unless you have lots of time to waste and want to be treated as an inconvenience. The service is ridiculously slow…over 20 minutes for one smoothie!

The lady taking our order was either outside in her car or completely absent. Didn't even get our total. Didn't see anyone to take our money. Saw one person and they vanished.
Went to Starbucks instead. What the heck is wrong with the employees here?

This location is always super slow. So I ordered online and it said my order would be ready at 5:10. I walk in at 5:10ish and my flatbread was ready but my 3 smoothies weren’t. Fine. About 5 min later we got the 1st smoothie. 20 min later we get the 2nd one. It’s about 5:35 at this point. The workers began making my last smoothie then stopped to go do something else. 15 min later we are asked what we are waiting for. We don’t leave the store until 5:50. 40 min past pick up time. My food was gross and the other 2 smoothies were melted and gross by the time I got my entire order.

I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, however the people the people behind the bar are terrible. I placed an online order for 510 pickup.
I went inside and got the first two smoothies, 10 minutes apart.
I then watched this lady start making the 3rd only to stop when customers came in and totally forgot my order!
It's 546 and she finally asked if I was still waiting for something. Through clenched teeth, I said "the D*mn smoothie I ordered 30 minutes".
I didn't leave until 550 and all she had to say was *sorry*.
I hope corporate sees this review because this service here is ALWAYS slow and ALWAYS terrible.

DO NOT GET IN THE DRIVE THROUGH LINE! In fact, stay away completely! Once you enter the drive-through line, you are stuck. No matter how long it takes, you cannot get out once another car is behind you. Last Saturday, I waited 15 minutes for a smoothie. It sat at the window for 5 minutes already made, but nobody was there to give it to me. I realized that only one person was working the entire store, so I felt bad. I went back on Tuesday and ordered a smoothie and a sandwich, thinking I would give it another chance. I had three cars in front of me. It took 38 minutes to get to the window! My groceries were melting, so I asked if the order was ready before I paid for it. She said, "Let me check." She came back and told me that they were just getting started on my order! I saw at least three employees there. I said I had to go and to just forget the order. 40 minutes of wasted life in a line at Tropical Smoothie :(

I am a decently regular customer of tropical smoothie in Petosky. I usually don’t leave review’s, however tonight I went into tropical smoothie and ordered my usual smoothie. The girl who took my order seemed nice at first but then she not only messed up my friends drink completely, when I asked for the extra smoothie that is left over after they put it in the cup. She told me in a very rude and snappy tone that they are not allowed to give away the extra. I added extra ingredients to my smoothies so there is normally a lot extra, and every single time I have gone to tropical smoothie, they give me the extra. Granted it was close to closing time and I understand the frustration of a last minute customer. She said it’s against policy to give the extra away, if it is not allowed then they need to tell all the employees so this confusion and frustration won’t happen again.However, the attitude she had was disrespectful and she could have been a little nicer about locking the door, she basically followed us out and actually slammed the door shut behind us and locked it.
I gave them 5 stars only because I really do love their smoothies, I only ever go to tropical smoothie to get my smoothie fix. However based on my experience today I would say my friend’s smoothie only gets 1 star since they only got one thing right in it. My smoothie was good, like always, I just wanted everything I was paying for. I pay 10.92$ for my smoothie, 8.19$ for the base smoothie plus roughly 2.73$ for my extra stuff I add. Im paying extra for extra so why can’t I get all of the extra? Especially since they are just going to throw it away. I really do love tropical smoothie and I will be coming back, I just hope I don’t see the same girl working.
I was the only person in the drive through, and only one car in the parking lot. So why was I sitting at the window for over 5 minutes, no one came to take my payment. At least 2 employees walked by and looked at me. Looked as if they were cleaning/closing and not even working on my order. I drove off. Don’t know if I’ll be back

Sat in drive thru at window for 15min and the three workers are laughing and having a grand time, finally get addressed and my order wasn't even made, and they tried giving me someone else's order. Car behind me also drove off.

placed an order online for 538 after i got off work gave them some extra time go to go inside to get it doors are locked 6/2/24 now it is 545 i am waiting in the drive through. i know you guys are short staffed but maybe that wouldn’t be the case if you treated workers well, and paid a livable wage. MAYBE you could put a note on the door or post to your face book group or towns group letting the public know about the inconvenience. if it’s too inconvenient to stay open than close. there are other better smoothie places.
