Vintage Chophouse & Wine Bar

Our server was more concerned with getting his closing side work done rather than tending to his table. It was also my birthday with I shared in the reservation notes and it was not acknowledged at all. Very disappointed in our experience.

Hands down the BEST French onion soup I've ever had and I order it everywhere. The room is so beautiful - a fireplace and view of the lake? Yes please! Service is seamless, everything else we ordered was delicious and the atmosphere can't be beat.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Miranda, our white person was very kind and attentive. Our food was excellent.

Nice cozy restaurant. Considered one of the more high end places to eat in the Bay Harbor Petoskey area. Took 15 minutes to get a cocktail order in once seated which is not a big deal but took a little long. Food flavor was very good. Had the Denver steak wagyu, so it was extremely expensive but that was to be expected. Steak was prepared as directed, great flavor, but sadly the cut of meat was chewy, a line of grizzle in it. Was only able to eat maybe half of the 8 oz steak so certainly not wagyu worthy. They did discount my meal since it was not up to par which was appreciated. Salad, bread, drinks and spinach were very good. Girlfriend had the tenderloin tips in noodles and it was very good. Server was extremely friendly, location beautiful. Would try it again.

An excellent place for drinks, dinner and after dinner. Excellent food and service in a resort atmosphere.

The pricing was quite a bit higher than the last time we came. But overall it everything was amazing, from being seated to the suggestion of which dessert. So good!

Very loud. Could barely have a conversation. Salads were slow to arrive and then the entrees arrived half way through eating our salads. Not an enjoyable experience in a restaurant that is in a great location.

While staying here we thought we would spend our last night having dinner at the steakhouse onsite. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and were sat at a small table for two in the middle of the restaurant, where we were told the shade was already down and there was nothing they could do for the sun in our eyes. It seemed like it was an inconvenience for the host that we had arrived a bit early. The seating inside is quite small so we settled in for a nice dinner, trying to enjoy it regardless. Our crab cake appetizer was good and both of them were pretty large. Our meals arrived and both were also good, although the bernaisé sauce was not. Our biggest issue arrived when we asked for dessert menus after having been there for an hour and 10 minutes. Our waiter then informed us that we had to be out of there by 7:30 for the next reservation. We had just basically been told we weren’t welcome to stay for dessert. Wow. We ended up having to enjoy our dessert from a cardboard carry out container. This was definitely not the ending we expected to a $300+ dinner. Next time we come to stay here we will skip the Chophouse and head back over to Nomad where the service and cordiality was amazing!

Beautiful waterfront location with plenty of outdoor seating. We reserved a table for sunset, and the setting could not have been more perfect. Service was attentive without being rushed, and the food was excellent—the burger I ordered was probably the best I’ve ever had. Pricing is a bit high, but you’re paying for the views, and the food is truly delicious. Highly recommend for both the atmosphere and the meal!

Loved our experience at Vinyage food was great and Matt our server couldn't have been more wonderful

We dine there a few times a year and like it each time we are there. The food is good and the ambiance is nice. Our server this go around either forgot to include my plate order or the kitchen messed dup so my dish was delayed while the others were served. I wasn't upset as it happens. The server did take off half of the plate's meal cost from the bill so he did the right thing.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had asked for a table with a view & they delivered! Welcomed us and acknowledged his birthday. Service was fantastic as well as the food & they made his special day very enjoyable!

Menu had good variety, and the items were very tasty. Ambience on the patio great. I really enjoyed the experience.

I have been to this wonderful restaurant numerous times. The bone in ribeye steak was the best I've had there. So flavorful. The only reason I could not give it 5 stars in my vintage salad did not have any goat cheese on it and my wife's did not have any dressing on it.
