Came on a beautiful Saturday night at 7:30. They don’t take reservations or have a waitlist per Adam over the phone. No big deal for us. We were seated in the original bar area which was fine. What wasn’t fine is we were sat with 7 people at a table for 4 people. There were larger tables empty but not bussed. We figured out how to squeeze in, but it was not ideal. The service was good but the food was barely seasoned and the chicken was dry and tough. Their Mac and cheese was good at least! I ordered a cherry Pepsi and it was Pepsi with wayy too much grenadine. For the price, we were expecting better.
First time here 7/18/26. We were meeting some of my wife’s high school friends.
I had a cup of shrimp bisque and the steamed mussels appetizer. It’s been a long time since I had either of these. Both were very good. Bisque was flavorsome and hearty. Steamed mussels were enhanced by a white wine (I think), butter, garlic sauce. My wife had a flatbread pizza which was just ok. Tomato sauce is bland in my opinion....
