Best French toast around! It was made fresh with locally baked bread and the syrup was real maple syrup not that HFC stuff and the coffee was served in a to-go cup so you can take it with you. They also serve Detroit Cola. It's like Coke but better. They also serve french fries made from fresh potatoes and salt. No batter! just good old-fashioned french fries.

Ever since the new owners took over this place is great! The atmosphere inside is great for all ages and the food and ingredients is bought from all local farms, meat markets, and other local stores! They even have Michigan crafted and made special craft pop/soda in and change up the flavors every so often! Hope the grapefruit soda doesn't go anywhere...it's BETTER than the Original squirt! Food is awesome and prices are DEFINITELY cheaper than any of the local restaurants anywhere around BUT the portions are also huge! I'm usually the guy that will eat my burger and fries and then eat the kids leftovers but after my burger I was done! Make sure to swing through and check this place out! Breakfast is served all day as well!????

Kid-friendliness: Brought my little step brother there. The waitresses and owners were very kind and came by to ask us about if he was excited for school to start back up!

Parking: Plenty of parking! The covered drive in is now even open and working if you want to stay in your vehicle they'll bring everything right to you!! New owners are on a roll!!

If you're passing by, you should stop for a bite. I loved the old time diner feel; the food matched the atmosphere, and it tasted absolutely great. Burger was a solid 10/10. The fries are better than any other fry you'll get. Employees were happy to be there and just added to the experience. Definitely recommend for anyone and everyone I will be going back, and you should too!

Happy Dazs in under new ownership and much nicer than pre-covid days. I used to eat here back in the 70’s as Jack’s drive-in now it’s call Happy Dazs. They have some inside seating and picnic tables outside if you don’t want to eat in your vehicle. Friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price.

Thankful for the new owners! Stopped here 5-6 years ago and was not impressed. Heard from a coworker that it has much improved and they were right.My boyfriend and I both got a smash burger and mozz sticks. I like that the sandwiches are separate from sides instead of automatically served with fries. Food was great, staff was friendly. Can't wait to come try breakfast.
