Best French toast around! It was made fresh with locally baked bread and the syrup was real maple syrup not that HFC stuff and the coffee was served in a to-go cup so you can take it with you. They also serve Detroit Cola. It's like Coke but better. They also serve french fries made from fresh potatoes and salt. No batter! just good old-fashioned french fries.
Ever since the new owners took over this place is great! The atmosphere inside is great for all ages and the food and ingredients is bought from all local farms, meat markets, and other local stores! They even have Michigan crafted and made special craft pop/soda in and change up the flavors every so often! Hope the grapefruit soda doesn't go anywhere...it's BETTER than the Original squirt! Food is awesome and prices are DEFINITELY cheaper than any of the local restaurants...
If you're passing by, you should stop for a bite. I loved the old time diner feel; the food matched the atmosphere, and it tasted absolutely great. Burger was a solid 10/10. The fries are better than any other fry you'll get. Employees were happy to be there and just added to the experience. Definitely recommend for anyone and everyone I will be going back, and you should too!
