I had to have major oral surgery and I can't eat normal for awhile, and the only thing I could think of that sounded good was the pea soup from here. I messaged (didn't think it would be possible, cuz what restaurant does a special order for soup in the middle of summer?) and she made me 2 quarts!!! I've said it before, but her recipe tastes exactly like my grandma's did growing up. Such a hug in each bowl! Thank you SO MUCH!

The smoothies were yummy. The bagels were good, but one of them had random food stuck to it…greens, onion, and pesto, when I just ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese. We waited 40 minutes for 2 bagels & 2 smoothies and it was not busy at all. I even had a baby with me. They apologized for the wait, but I had to ask for a refund / discount. They gave me one after I asked. I would like to continue to come back but I was definitely disappointed with the service and my wait time.

Welcoming environment where people can bring their children to play safely the adults can socialize or just be out of the house. I like that there is a separate area in the back for people who don't want to be around the sounds of the littles playing if they choose. Service was quick and all the employees that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good and they had lots of vegan, GF, and vegetarian options. For being a self-proclaimed coffee shop, their drinks were on the low side of average. I ordered a lemonade and it was made from powder, with way too much powder for the size that I ordered. My friend got a 'dirty chai' which is typically made with shots of espresso, but they left out the milk and used brewed coffee instead of espresso.
Dropped in for a coffee. Definitely will be back when in the area.

I bought 2 coffees- their specialty lattes are an insane $8 to begin with, but they were awful. They were watered down & had almost no flavor. We got Maple Cinnamon & Marshmallow Mocha. The maple had a very slight hint of maple, but barely. The other one had no flavor and was also very watered down. As a coffee lover I’ve never left a negative review and never had such a bad cup of coffee- especially not for that price. Do not recommend. We took a couple sips and then literally threw our $16.96 worth of crappy coffee into the trash without drinking them.

If you have yet to visit MI Grounds, you are truly missing an exceptional experience. The barista crafted a latte that was simply outstanding. On a spontaneous decision, I also tried their cinnamon roll, which exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, this has become my new favorite coffee destination in town. For those looking to avoid the long lines at other coffee shops, MI Grounds offers a quick and efficient service.
