The SE MI Brewery Tour continues.
I've been to the Ypsilanti locale, time to check out Plymouth.
Really nice place right across from a park. The view out the rolled up garage door is very relaxing, like something from The Truman Show.
They have friendly, helpful staff, too.
I has checked out the menu prior to arrival and saw the Cuban sandwich. I know, I keep getting disappointed because nobody north of Tampa makes an honest-to-goodness Cuban. But I keep trying.
The sandwich was very good. It was even pressed as it should be. Smaller than traditional, on a hoagie roll, it was more Media Noche than a true Cuban. The pulled pork was a bit difficult to bite through and the overall balance was skewed but it was a very good sammich.
The beers I had were solid offerings, as well.
I would gladly stop in again when I'm in the neighborhood looking to chill for a few hours.

They have an outdoor patio, and the host told me “your dog is an unfortunate situation, you need to put your dog on the outside of the fence and the leash through the fence if you guys sit here”
Meaning my dog would be on the sidewalk where everyone else walks?
Why not just tell people no to dogs? Having my dog sit on the small sidewalk where everyone walks is more of a risk than no dogs. Especially if you needed to pull the leash…..
Disappointed in my experience.
Iron wood is dog friendly (walking distance) and they can be on the inside of the fence!!

We enjoyed our time here. The mushroom pizza was really good. And really good beer as well.

Had an amazing experience at Arbor Brewing Plymouth Taproom! I ordered a beer flight and everything was absolutely delicious. It’s a great spot to try a variety of their brews. Highly recommended!

First time here and have been wanting to try this place for quite a while. Safe to say my experience was very disappointing. We sat at the bar, bar tenders on their phone 99% of the time and barely checked in on us. Felt more like an inconvience than a customer. Food took quite a while to come out and had to ask if it was on the way. Nachos were very cold and basically plain tortilla chips with a side of sour cream and salsa. Mushroom pizza was not the right choice and was basically a garlic pizza. Beer was sub par but the only good part of this brewery was the music choice.

Good food. Loved that they had games for the kids to play! Most games were missing pieces, but we got by.

Beer selection was great.

We ordered multiple kid meals and experienced up charges for each order that weren’t explained to us during ordering, just saw it when the bill came. I don’t like that they don’t explain up charges during the ordering.

Sad to see this place do away with two of their three vegan options, leaving falafel. I wont be going to abc for their falafel. Hoping for more vegan options in downtown Plymouth!

Great beer and almost as good food. The wife wanted. Different cheese (not garganzola) and the staggering went next door to Bigalora and got it for her!

As a Plymouth resident and parent, we go to Arbor Brewing frequently because it’s a great place to take our kids for casual night out.
Recently, the food and service have been hit or miss, and our last visit was a miss.
We noticed that they changed up the menu, but decided to still order one our favorite items—the chicken nachos. The new version with the chicken tinga was very disappointing. The serving size also decreased significantly for nachos that cost over $20!
Besides the food, the server was not the best we’ve had there. We ordered two kids lemonades and after bringing out one of them, she told us they were changing out the lemonade in the back but never followed up or gave us the other drink. The food took a long time—which we understood, it’s a Saturday night—but she didn’t check in or give us an update once. She also made no effort to check in once the food had been delivered.

It’s really disappointing that a really convenient and local spot seems to be going down in quality.

Had a wonderful lunch here on my way to the airport.
Tyler, the bartender was great and very patient with me as I worked out my sampler choices.
He also informed me that today was the first day of their new food menu, and the Chicken Tenders with Gochujang was killer. No pun intended, but maybe the most tender chicken tenders I have ever had.
Beers were great as well!

Good craft beer, food has a decent selection and specials are often worth a try.

Food is more miss than hit. Had the fish sandwich and slaw today. Fish was bland and the side of slaw came in a tiny cup that’s normally used for condiments. Don’t come here for the food.

Plus 1 star for atmosphere. Great place to bring kiddos.

Service was as bad as the food, plus one star for decent beer

I was really disappointed with my experience this evening. The server (Jaden, sp?) was unfriendly and rude (facial expressions say a lot). The cider I ordered was so awful I had to send it back, despite having had it before. The food was also not on par with previous visits. When I tried to pay it was an ordeal for them to separate the checks (it had to involve a manager) and the server tried to charge me for the cider I couldn't drink. I usually only leave nice reviews but this was overall quite the unpleasant dining experience.
