Cool little specialty market with gluten free foods. Loved the cupcakes and breads. Even if you don’t have diet restrictions, it’s worth checking out.

Stopped in on our way back to Chicago to pick up the most delicious gluten free Rye bread that I had enjoyed at the Stage Deli in West Bloomfield MI a few days earlier. Truly delicious texture & flavor just as is but perfect for sandwiches or a knob of your favorite butter or spread ! Stocked up with a loaf of their Challa Bread too. Wish Rumi’s might expand to locations in Chicago and Los Angeles! Thank you Rumi’s !

GF/DF choc chip cookies are my fav so far. They've got a lot of other good stuff too.

It is so hard to find a good gluten free bread. Rumi's has several kinds: white bread, raisin bread and whole grain. I got the cinnamon raisin, which was light and chewy. They also have many commercially prepared GF products. If that wasn't enough, there were also GF muffins and other house baked items. I live 45 minutes away, but I'll definitely be back!

Delicious GF baked goods ?, in a dedicated gluten free environment. Their hamburger buns and Bundt cake style coffee cakes keep me coming back on a regular basis!

Upon entering Rumis Passion, I was struck by the dizzying array of options available. Despite it being a bit out of my way, I decided to stop by while in the neighborhood, and I am so glad that I did. My original intention was to try their gluten-free paczki, but I also bought a loaf of vegan and gluten-free bread, a soup mix, and a broccoli and cheese quiche. Overall, everything was extraordinary, except for the paczki. While it tasted a bit gummy, which is not uncommon for gluten-free desserts, I suspect it may have been because it was a day old. However, this small hiccup did not detract from my overall experience, and I would still happily return! The staff behind the counter were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The inside of the bakery had a cozy and familial feel to it, with a delightful aroma that added to the overall experience. I only wish the bakery was closer to my location, as the gluten-free, vegan bread was some of the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend visiting Rumis Passion if you happen to be in the area. I promise that you will not be disappointed!

I recently visited Rumi’s Passion and had the pleasure of trying their Pączkis. From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the bustling energy and warm atmosphere. Despite the busy crowd, the staff remained friendly and efficient, which was impressive. What truly stood out to me was the inclusivity of Rumi’s Passion. It was heartwarming to see so many people with allergies enjoying delicious treats without worry. It’s evident that Rumi’s Passion is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all its customers. Now, onto the Pączkis – they were absolutely divine! The texture and flavor were on point, and I couldn’t even tell they were gluten-free and dairy-free. Each bite was a delightful experience, and I found myself savoring every moment.Overall, my visit to Rumi’s Passion was nothing short of fantastic. Not only did I enjoy mouthwatering Pączkis, but I also witnessed firsthand the joy of inclusivity. I highly recommend Rumi’s Passion to anyone looking for delicious treats made with care and consideration for dietary restrictions. Kudos to the team at Rumi’s Passion for creating such a wonderful experience.

Today I came in hoping for my favorite sandwich (Turkey Pesto) and unfortunately they didn't have enough staff to bake everything for the day. But, then I spotted a new item chocolate custard pop tart & it was amazing!! Loved it. Hope to make it back for the fruit one. They have the best gluten free options, just wish I was closer! Thank you for making yummy things

Saw that Rumi's was rated very high for pazske and decided to try. Didn't realize that it was a gluten free bakery until I arrived. Had a line of 6 customers, but there were 3clerks serving. Was looking for a raspberry but they were out. Got custard, lemon and blueberry. The three of us enjoyed them, remembered them being better from other bakeries.

Revised to 3 stars, as the owner actually contacted me to address these concerns. Will reevaluate after further discussion and reflection.REVISED AS OF 1/4/24I was a Rumi's fan for many years, but I have my doubts after a recent visit. I needed a quarter sheet cake for the baptism of a baby born over the holidays. They were closed until January 3rd, so I left a message using the email address on the bottom of their website. I did not receive a response, apparently because there are two different email addresses, one at the bottom of every page, and one on the "Artisan Baked Goods" page specifically for cakes.Since I didn't receive a response, I went in-person to order a cake, and I was told there is a 6 week waiting list. That's not very convenient for something like a baptism when you don't really know what day you will need it. Anyway, I asked if I could place an order, as the web site DOES state that they take orders "by email or in person." I was told they only take orders by email, so I would have to drive home (or to the nearest internet cafe) and email them. In my opinion, if you take the trouble to go into the store and speak to someone face to face, they should be able to do what their web site says they do, and take an order on paper. When I asked to speak to someone about options, the young lady stated that the person who handles cakes was "in the back" (which I have since been told was not the case) and she was not willing to speak with me.I know it was short notice (due to the holiday closure) so I offered to take an undecorated cake, but they only have those on Saturday mornings, and they are "first come first served." In my opinion, if I am there, in person, willing to pay on Wednesday, I am the first. But I'd have to physically camp outside the door on Saturday, and even then there was no guarantee any cakes would be available."Plan C" was now to get a regular cake (from a big box store) for the guests and a small round cake from Rumi's for my grandson (brother of the new baby) who cannot have a lot of the big allergens. Unfortunately, of the two cakes in the case, one used eggs and dairy (but not gluten) and both had soy-lecithin in the frosting (which is still too much soy for my grandson.)All in all, my customer experience was not good, even though I know from past experience that they have an excellent product. And I am heartened to see that the owner reached out to me to hear me out. But some of the business practices (and the web site) could use an upgrade (IMO.)

Gluten Free Heaven! They have a case of pastry/cake options with some vegan as well. Additionally, they stock pantry staples and freezer items that are hard to find elsewhere.
