It is so hard to find a good gluten free bread. Rumi's has several kinds: white bread, raisin bread and whole grain. I got the cinnamon raisin, which was light and chewy. They also have many commercially prepared GF products. If that wasn't enough, there were also GF muffins and other house baked items. I live 45 minutes away, but I'll definitely be back!
Upon entering Rumis Passion, I was struck by the dizzying array of options available. Despite it being a bit out of my way, I decided to stop by while in the neighborhood, and I am so glad that I did. My original intention was to try their gluten-free paczki, but I also bought a loaf of vegan and gluten-free bread, a soup mix, and a broccoli and cheese quiche. Stopped in on our way back to Chicago to pick up the most delicious gluten free Rye bread that I had enjoyed at the Stage Deli in West Bloomfield MI a few days earlier. Truly delicious texture & flavor just as is but perfect for sandwiches or a knob of your favorite butter or spread ! Stocked up with a loaf of their Challa Bread too. Wish Rumi’s might expand to locations in Chicago and Los Angeles! Thank you Rumi’s !
