I would've given the food and atmosphere 5 stars if it wasn't for the smell I noticed coming in. It smelled like old mop water, and the smell was so strong I questioned if it was wise to eat there, and if the smell would affect my ability to eat. Nevertheless, my nose blindness helped me to stay, and I ordered from their raw bar at happy hour. The mussels were ok, but the bread had a weird after taste. The drink I ordered had toasted sea salt, which had a weird smell....

Such a cute dinner date place, would 100% recommend. The sardine starter is absolutely delish and i would come to Plymouth just for that. Having said that, this starter is the only sardine dish on the menu and i’m really curious if more sardine dishes are coming in the future. The margaritas are amazing and the whitefish dip is also to be recommend. All in all for a main the fish and chips were really good and with an interesting twist...

We visited The Sardine Room for the first time today and had an excellent experience. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding.
