We have been coming here on our vacations for many years and while the pastries are just Costco (which is fine but nothing special), the coffee is always excellent. The service is a bit slow but the owner is friendly and will tell you everything you need to know about the area if you ask. There is a laundry in the building so you can wash your clothes, drink your coffee, and use the wifi all in one place, which is GREAT if you are at the state park and in need of all 3 things!
Nice local place, good coffee and selection of bakery while doing laundry. Cozy homelike place, nice owner with very friendly dog Whiskey. Only one thing that I would suggest to improve is to clean place thoroughly.
Ok, here’s the thing. It’s not Starbucks. It’s not like any other coffee shop you’ve ever been to. It doesn’t have the booths, nor the organized retail space. The bathroom doesn’t have stalls and yes you have to move a wheeled laundry bin out of the way to access it. The pastries are from Sam’s Club. There’s magazines and boxes strewn about.
BUT…. it’s a GEM. It’s a hole in the wall, eclectic neighborhood coffee shop. The locals meet most mornings...
