What a welcoming & well-run place! Came for breakfast with a friend recently and was impressed by the friendly service and wonderful homemade food. 10/10 recommend!

Friendly service, the food was good. Perch or cod basket normally only served on Fridays but we were there Saturday and they made accommodations. Had 5 people and ended up switching tables before our food came out. It was pretty busy but still the service was timely. Perch was fried well and coleslaw was great.

We stopped in for breakfast at Buck’s Port Hope Diner and loved it! It’s a cute little spot with a welcoming, small-town feel. Even though they were busy, we didn’t have to wait, and the staff was friendly and attentive the whole time. I ordered the Western omelet and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the Port Hope area!

We tried Bucks for the first time! We constantly drive through Port Hope all the time and have never stopped for a meal. We got ourselves breakfast. You can see it in the picture. The waitress was super friendly and the food was just amazing! It's just a small little spot but it's perfect for me! I go through here a lot and from now on I will always be stopping in! I can't wait to have lunch next time 😉
